Quick Start Guide
Get BambooSnow up and running in just 5 minutes. This guide will walk you through connecting your first repository and deploying your first AI agent.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A GitHub account with at least one repository
- Admin or write access to the repository you want to connect
Step 1: Sign Up or Log In
- Visit bamboosnow.com and click Get Started
- Sign in with your GitHub account
- Authorize BambooSnow to access your repositories
Step 2: Connect Your Repository
- From the dashboard, click Add Repository
- Select the repository you want to automate
- Choose the branch to monitor (typically
mainormaster) - Click Connect Repository
Step 3: Run Initial Analysis
Once connected, BambooSnow automatically analyzes your repository to understand:
- Code structure - Languages, frameworks, and architecture
- Development patterns - How your team writes code
- Potential improvements - Areas where AI agents can help
The analysis typically takes 1-3 minutes depending on repository size.
Step 4: Deploy Your First Agent
- Navigate to Agents in the sidebar
- Click Create New Agent
- Choose a template (we recommend starting with Code Reviewer)
- Configure the trigger (e.g., "Run on every pull request")
- Click Deploy Agent
Step 5: Test It Out
Create a new pull request in your repository. Within seconds, you'll see your agent:
- Analyze the changes
- Post a detailed review comment
- Suggest improvements
