Quick Start Guide

Get BambooSnow up and running in just 5 minutes. This guide will walk you through connecting your first repository and deploying your first AI agent.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A GitHub account with at least one repository
  • Admin or write access to the repository you want to connect

Step 1: Sign Up or Log In

  1. Visit bamboosnow.com and click Get Started
  2. Sign in with your GitHub account
  3. Authorize BambooSnow to access your repositories

Step 2: Connect Your Repository

  1. From the dashboard, click Add Repository
  2. Select the repository you want to automate
  3. Choose the branch to monitor (typically main or master)
  4. Click Connect Repository

Step 3: Run Initial Analysis

Once connected, BambooSnow automatically analyzes your repository to understand:

  • Code structure - Languages, frameworks, and architecture
  • Development patterns - How your team writes code
  • Potential improvements - Areas where AI agents can help

The analysis typically takes 1-3 minutes depending on repository size.

Step 4: Deploy Your First Agent

  1. Navigate to Agents in the sidebar
  2. Click Create New Agent
  3. Choose a template (we recommend starting with Code Reviewer)
  4. Configure the trigger (e.g., "Run on every pull request")
  5. Click Deploy Agent

Step 5: Test It Out

Create a new pull request in your repository. Within seconds, you'll see your agent:

  1. Analyze the changes
  2. Post a detailed review comment
  3. Suggest improvements
