1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to BambooSnow ("we," "our," or "the Company"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BambooSnow platform, including our website at bamboosnow.co, APIs, AI agents, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, connecting a repository, or otherwise using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
BambooSnow is an AI-powered software development automation platform. Our Service provides:
- AI Agents: Automated workflows including Code Reviewer, QA Sentinel, Doc Keeper, Issue Triager, Security Scanner, and Dependency Guardian that integrate with your GitHub repositories
- Repository Analysis: Automated analysis of your codebase to provide insights, recommendations, and automated actions
- Workflow Automation: GitHub Actions-based workflows that execute agent logic in response to repository events (pull requests, issues, pushes, etc.)
- Dashboard and Management: Web interface for configuring agents, viewing run history, and managing your subscription
The Service relies on third-party AI models (including but not limited to Anthropic's Claude) to provide intelligent analysis and recommendations. The quality and accuracy of AI-generated outputs may vary.
3. Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To use the Service, you must create an account by authenticating with GitHub. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3.2 Account Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
- You must have a valid GitHub account in good standing
- You must have appropriate permissions for any repositories you connect
- One person or organization may not maintain multiple free accounts
3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any agent secrets provided to you. Notify us immediately at security@bamboosnow.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Billing, Payments, and Work Cycles
4.1 Subscription Plans
BambooSnow offers tiered subscription plans (Solo Engineer, Engineering Team, and Enterprise) with different feature sets and Work Cycle allocations. Current pricing is available at bamboosnow.co/pricing.
4.2 Work Cycles
"Work Cycles" are the unit of usage that measure agent activity. Each agent action consumes Work Cycles based on the complexity and AI compute required. Your subscription includes a monthly allocation of Work Cycles.
- Hard Cap (Default): When Work Cycles are depleted, agents pause until your next billing cycle. No overage charges apply.
- Auto-Upgrade (Optional): You may enable automatic purchase of additional Work Cycle blocks ($149 per 50 cycles) when your allocation is exhausted.
4.3 Payment Terms
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- We use Stripe for payment processing; your payment information is handled according to Stripe's terms
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
4.4 Price Changes
We may change our prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Process, store, or transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Circumvent usage limits, billing mechanisms, or security measures
- Use agents to spam, harass, or abuse other users or services
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Use the Service to develop competing products or services
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice.
6. User Responsibilities
6.1 Repository Permissions
You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to connect repositories to the Service. If you connect repositories owned by an organization, you confirm you have authorization to do so.
6.2 Code Review and Approval
AI agents provide suggestions and automated actions, but you are ultimately responsible for reviewing and approving any changes to your codebase. You should:
- Review all agent-generated pull requests before merging
- Validate agent recommendations against your project requirements
- Test changes in appropriate environments before deployment
- Maintain your own code review processes alongside agent automation
6.3 Sensitive Data
Do not include secrets, credentials, API keys, or other sensitive information in code that agents will analyze. While we implement guardrails to detect and redact secrets, you are responsible for ensuring sensitive data is not exposed in your repositories.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to your code, repositories, and data ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to access, process, and analyze Your Content solely to provide the Service.
7.2 Agent Outputs
Code, documentation, and other outputs generated by agents ("Agent Outputs") are provided to you. To the extent permitted by law, you own Agent Outputs created for your repositories. We make no claim to ownership of Agent Outputs.
7.3 Our Service
The Service, including our website, APIs, agent logic, documentation, and branding, is owned by BambooSnow and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.
8. Service Availability and Support
8.1 Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
8.2 SLA (Enterprise Only)
Enterprise customers may have a separate Service Level Agreement (SLA) with specific uptime guarantees. Standard SLA terms provide 99.9% uptime with defined remedies for outages.
8.3 Support
Support response times vary by plan: Solo Engineer (48-hour email), Engineering Team (24-hour priority), Enterprise (on-call engineering support). Support is provided in English.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We specifically disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:
- Agent outputs will be accurate, complete, or error-free
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- AI-generated code will be free of bugs or security vulnerabilities
- The Service will be uninterrupted or secure
AI technology has inherent limitations. Agent recommendations should be reviewed by qualified humans before implementation in production systems.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAMBOOSNOW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Data loss or corruption
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Damages arising from agent-generated code or recommendations
- Security breaches resulting from user negligence
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In such cases, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BambooSnow and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) your Content.
12. Termination
12.1 Termination by You
You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
12.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users. We may also terminate for convenience with 30 days' notice.
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before taking effect.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and close your account.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Wilmington, Delaware, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
14.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.
15. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BambooSnow regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights to any successor in interest.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
- No Partnership: Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and BambooSnow.
