OpenParty Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of OpenParty, a multiplayer party-game app operated by Brandon Brooks. By using OpenParty, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and Availability
You may use OpenParty only if you are permitted to use ChatGPT and related app features under applicable terms. OpenParty is currently offered to users in the United States and is not directed to children under 13.
Acceptable Use
You may use OpenParty for lawful, family-friendly social gameplay. You must not:
- Harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or endanger another person.
- Attempt to obtain another player's private role, credential, recovery phrase, or account access.
- Abuse invites, automated requests, reporting, or rate limits.
- Interfere with the service, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, or use OpenParty for illegal activity.
Gameplay and User Content
OpenParty is a social deduction game. Statements made by players or AI players during a game are part of gameplay and may be inaccurate. You remain responsible for the display name, messages, reports, and actions you submit.
Safety and Enforcement
Players can report safety concerns through the report_player tool or by contacting support. We may review reports, restrict abusive activity, remove data, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.
Service Changes and Availability
OpenParty may change, pause, or discontinue features. Multiplayer sessions may be interrupted by hosting, network, database, ChatGPT, or third-party service issues. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Intellectual Property
The OpenParty source code is made available under its repository license. OpenParty names, branding, hosted content, and service presentation may have separate rights. These Terms do not grant rights beyond those expressly provided by the applicable license.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
OpenParty is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Brandon Brooks is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as OpenParty changes. The effective date above will identify the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
